About

Clay is a fascinating medium which offers endless possibilities. After many years of making high firing functional wares in interior B.C., I now live in this beautiful city, Vancouver.

I grew up in Taiwan and came to Canada in the seventies. It was in Kamloops where I first encountered and fell in love with clay. I went on to study fine arts at Cariboo College and joined the local pottery guild. Some of my works were accepted in several ceramic competitions, such as the Gallery of BC SilkRoad competition and the International Small Teapot competition in the US.

My Chinese background influences my work, and I enjoy experimenting with different techniques, forms and glazes. I am inspired by nature, and many of my pieces feature unique and whimsical plants and animals.
